I just wanted to make sure everyone is prepared and as safe as can be, but they are predicting this after noon (Friday 02/12) a bigger storm is coming in to drop 4-7 inches of snow on Beaverton and surrounding areas. Of course, there is no way to know how much if any will drop, but it's much better to be prepared.
If you have a fireplace that works, make sure you get some wood in case your power goes out and you don't have the ability to heat your homes.
Make sure you have a method of cooking that doesn't require electricity OR enough easy to eat food that doesn't require heating.
Lots of blankets at the ready for you and your family.
If you have a generator make sure you check and make sure it runs.
Bring your pets in if you don't have them already in, it's very cold.
Have lots of extra drinkable water.
Have an emergency go to place if you need it, someplace outside of your local area that might still have power.
If you have chains for your vehicle, get them ready or get them on.
Maybe it would be good to have a community thread here so we can help out each other if we can? I'm not able to help out physically or with like housing, but others might, and if there was a critical need maybe others here could help those in need.
