It all started about 12 years ago, I tried a mascara with fibers that I had bought online from China (bad idea). My eyes immediatedly hurt and I took it off but I noticed from then on that my eyelids became swollen. All the way to this day I still have hardened lumps along my upper lashlines. They don't hurt, but they look bad and swell up, especially in the mornings. They are always hardened lumps. I believe the glands are blocked and that oil or something is trapped within them.

I've tried doing the standard hot compresses and that didn't solve it. I went to 3 optometrists and a general physician but no luck. The general physician had no idea how to treat. The 3 eye doctors, first one told me to use hot compresses (didn't work), second one I went to told me to buy their in-office eye drops and use them once every single hour for a year straight and then come back to him if that didn't work (absurd advice), and the third one told me they could see them but didn't know how to treat them.

Is there some sort of treatment I should be looking into to get these drained so my eyelids are chronically swollen along the upper lashline (where eyeliner goes is the area I'm talking about)?
