I know this isn't new, I found older posts, I've also been to Apple's website and this is INFURIATING.
All I want is for my beats to NOT BE WORKING when they are NOT IN USE. I've done the following
- Completely Unpaired and Repaired
- "Set next to phone plugged on" To force a firm Ware update
- Checked Auto Ear Detection is on, and Off
- Made sure Buds are actually plugged in to the case and Charging.
- Gone in and manually disconnected them... only to have them auto connect again unless I unpair
For the Record: I should not have to do ANY of this. If the beats aren't in, they need to not be On, period.
It always did this occasionally, and I've always had problems with them pairing correctly (Putting them in ears, and only one connecting, and having to try over and over again) I just assumed it was the fact that I'm using a Generation older and the New W1 chip (Or whichever we are on) weren't working properly.
But at this point they are worthless to me. I'm working in Sales and missing phone calls because when they aren't in Use, my phone isn't ringing... because its going to the Buds. The Buds that are not being used. I'm literally losing money.
Apples Forums are, as always, more Propaganda than Help. I'm going to replace this with something else once my next commission hits, but for now I just want the damn things to turn off an STAY OFF.
