Quest 3 right controller connection issues?

Hi. New to VR and beat Sabre. I got a quest 3 for Christmas and it seems like the right controller has a connection bug only in beat Sabre. I don’t really notice in any other game. Maybe cause beat Sabre is so fast? I particularly notice it when swing the right controller down. It makes the game unplayable and at this point I’m gonna ask for a refund.
Is there something I’m missing or doing wrong? Is this a known bug? Google seems to bring up a lot of similar questions but none one has an answer.
