Anyone around here make their own beard balms? Looking for some advice.

I’ve always made my own balms, but just one or two at a time, using the double boiler method. I’m in need of producing a larger quantity, and have been considering using a presto pot to melt the wax, as do some candle makers. Will this suffice for my balms?
