Advice on cleaning a beanie buddy?

I ordered Magic the Dragon so I could have matching sets of the beanie and buddy versions but she arrived damaged today. Iām trying to return her first but if Iām not able to I was hoping to get advice on how to clean her without ruining her. She is sticky to the touch and reeks of orange oil. Is there a way to clean her without ruining the tags?
