This stray kitten started hanging out in my yard for a month. The kitten is very tame. I'm planning on taking her in once she gets checked out by a vet.
If I don't take in the kitten, she'll likely die. The area in which I live floods periodically. Taking the kitten to the shelter would mean an automatic death sentence. Shelters are beyond capacity.
What I'm worried about is how my 4 year old would react. She's not aggressive, BUT my girl wants to play with everything that moves. She plays rough. Any tips on teaching her to play nice?
Note: I realize there is a process in which dogs and cats are to be introduced.
