Help! My dog has allergies.

Geena has been with me for three years. She's allergic to almost everything, especially dust mites. My parents are quite the slobs, so I keep her downstairs.
Downstairs is completely clean but it's dusty. I clean regularly but it seems to have no affect on her allergies. I do not want to keep giving her allergy meds.
Any tips? Thanks.
