Do I need to adjust my expectations?
Post Body

This is kind of a rant, but if anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears. I'm 25f and am fairly new to kink. I've tried dating apps, tried meeting people with zero success, and soon, I'm going to be having to surgeries that will make it pretty much impossible for me to go on dates for the next several months. I decided to go outside of my comfort zone, and saw a call on r/bdsmpersonals looking for a sub that looked interesting, she wanted an online dynamic so I answered and we started messaging. I was enjoying the back and forth, and then after about 2 weeks, she ghosted me. Completely stopped messaging, stopped responding.

So I brushes it off and went further outside of my comfort zone and made my own post, seeking a Domme. A Domme messaged me, we agreed on limits and an online dynamic and I deleted the post. After about a week and a half later,I woke up this morning and she had deleted her reddit account without a word to me, a heads up, nothing.

So I've been ghosted by two different dommes for no discernible reason in less than a month. Yes both dynamics were based online, and in both instances, we wanted to keep some level on anonymity so phone numbers were not exchanged. Both dommes claimed to be experienced, having had previous subs. I was following directions, was not nearly as big of a brat as I could've been since the dynamic was just starting out.

Am I overreacting by being upset at being ghosted? Do I need to adjust my expectations around NOT being ghosted by a Domme? Is it just me or have others ran into this issue?
