Building upon yesterday’s post here we have another combination tie. We start with the sling tie which is a comfortable tie meant to keep the Rope Bunny’s knees to their shoulders. This is a very natural bend as it replicates the fetus position. Before we continued to the next tie I checked in with my bunny and they said they were very comfortable. We both have sensitive skin so it is imperative that these ties be done with thought and care as to not cause any harm.

The next tie I combined with this was the spreader bar tie. Along with adding to the aesthetic it is a very comfortable alternative to the usual “leather and steel” combo that most spreader bars consist of. It made of rope so the comfort is incomparable.

Lastly, I finished off the tie by creating a handle on the back. I think by now you can tell that handles are one of my favorite accessories! I used cotton rope so please be aware, cotton rope IS NOT FOR SUSPENSION!!! I nearly showcased how the handle can be used in a practical sense. When I picked my bunny up from the handle she stated there was no pain, nor was there any pressure points. The harness took the blunt of the weight so as to not injure the delicate wrists and ankles of my bunny. Always test ties first and use caution. In the last picture I demonstrate how you can pick up your bunny using the handle. It was only a split second lift for only about a 6 inches high. Do not use cotton rope for suspension!

When I actually lifted her during our play shortly after I put my entire forearm under her hips between her legs while using my other free hand to grip the handle. Almost like a sideways hug. Picture 4 shows this perfectly. Never just use the handle!!!
