Is anyone a 1099 contract worker but create a LLC for tax and liability purposes? I’m in Texas.

Post Body

I only work for one company and have just been receiving checks under my name and use an accountant to file/pay taxes. I’ve heard the LLC route can potentially save me money when filing taxes and let me take home more but also save my personal assets in case something happened.
