Just moved back out to the Bay Area, living in Hayward. I've been struggling bit as far as money, and was wondering if anyone knew of any oppertunities/quick gigs coming up?

I've been unemployed and just got hired for pretty good pay M-F 8-5, but they just pushed my start date back until 9/9, and I'm afraid money is going to be really tight until the end of September

Does anyone know of any avenues for side work? I've applied/taken my resume in to places in oakland and Hayward as far as service jobs but havent heard anything. In the short term I just scoure craigslist for small moving gigs etc but they're usually rare / competitive.

Any advice would be appreciated.
