Fellow Bay Area residents,
Have you ever come back to your parking spot only to find your car gone, towed away without a warning? Or worse, have you ever had your car stolen and felt utterly helpless? I've been there, as my car was stolen from Geary St last Thursday morning at 5:31am, and all I can say is I do not want anyone to have to go through that, ever again. That's why I've built SF Vigilante - an automated system designed to alert you the moment you receive a parking citation in San Francisco first, and over 50 cities across the Bay Area (with more on the way).
Why SF Vigilante?
Irate by the limitations of SFPD and the generosity of SFMTA, I had no option but to take matters in my own hands. Vigilante scans various city databases and notifies you ASAP about any new citations linked to your license plate. Theft Recovery: Originally built as a personal tool to track my stolen vehicle, SF Vigilante could aid in locating your stolen car by alerting you of any parking citations it may accrue. Avoid Tows: Get notified before your car gets towed, giving you a chance to act fast and save your vehicle (and your wallet).
Currently the system is monitoring my car, and 7 other redditors who reached out to me from my earlier posts about finding my car. I plan on opening up the number you can text for service this weekend, if you’d like to join in prior and be one of the first ones to test and benefit from Vigilante. Please dm and I’d be more than happy to add you.
Interesting. Fortunately I am not going thru Appstore reviews
thank you. i am definitely planning on adding security measures, i have it working for me with fastrak but since you ought to login to an account there wondering what’s the best way to enable people to add their account
Please dm I’d love to talk more about this
