I searched both Google and this subreddit but don't see anyone talking about it. Every morning this week the traffic leading up to the toll booths and Bay Bridge into the city has been more congested than I have ever seen it. I take a commuter bus so we get to use the far right HOV/Bus Lane to bypass most of the traffic, however now the congestion starts about a quarter of a mile before the entrance to that lane, adding about 15 minutes to the commute now. Even after passing the toll booths, bridge traffic kind of just putters its way across the bridge at slow speeds.

I have never experienced this before in such consecutive frequency. Does anyone know if this is to remain? Or is it just something this week that is temporarily adding congestion? I have to be in the office at what used to be regular time in the next few weeks and now I am wondering if I should just choose BART instead?
