Dear all, I am a Dutch guy currently living in South Africa, but after 4 years moving back to Europe soon and looking for work. Not limiting myself to the Netherlands. The strong economy and quality of life in Germany are definitely a pull-factor. I am an architectural historian by training, been doing some research on architects in South Africa organising archives at university but prepared to work outside my field (have experience working at the EU in Brussels, the visa department of our embassy looking for fraud in visa applications). Languages are my main talent (Dutch, English, French, Spanish and a reasonable command of German). I enjoy a multi-lingual/multicultural environment a lot. What kind of possibilities would there be in Munich, what is the job market like? I do realise that I have little chance working in museums etc. as you need a good network in order to get a job there, plus that I prefer a more dynamic environment. Am really a person to do research, figuring out everything about a certain subject.
