A Rough Guide To BoT Weapons.

  • Light Weapons

Manglers. Machine guns that fire APFS ammo & Work best up close and deliver huge damage the closer you get. They will work from up to 350m but they won't be very effective. Works great on Ravagers and Shons

Stings. Homing missiles that fire HEAT ammo and have a 400m range but this is the total distance so they need allowances for flight paths. Try to be around 350m away from target for best results. Will not easily hit close targets. Stings do the same damage no matter the distance and can be fired instantly as soon as you have a lock on the target. Works great on Nellys (x4) or on a Shon or Mite (x2)

Tormentor. a Long Range 1000m .50 cal. style weapon that fires APFS. Will do more damage from the mid range (under 500m). The Tormentor has a fast reload but only 3 rounds so it's advisable to upgrade with Magzines for maximum impact. Works well with Nellys but has also been known to work well on some Ravager builds with Sarisa.

  • Heavy Weapons

Hammer. Fires APFS up to 500m. It's Rate Of Fire is quite slow out the box but the projectile velocity is fast so it rarely misses the target. Consider Automation for an upgrade to compensate the slower ROF. Damage decreases at maximum range and only holds 5 rounds so a another good upgrade is a Magazine. Commonly found on M.A.O.s & Ravagers. A good tip using Hammer MAOs is to fire them sequentially to compensate for faster moving targets.

Sarisa. Fires HEAT ammo up to 1000m. Missile Velocity is slow so it will often miss faster moving targets. Unlike the Hammer that requires a full reload, the Sarisa works more like an Orkan by reloading all the time. Sarisas deliver its big damage at all ranges but the base level reload is quite slow so brawling can be dangerous with empty clips and it will struggle to hit faster moving Shon & Mites up close. Mainly found on MAOs.

  • Backpack weapons

Javelin. Fires a big damage HEAT homing missile up to 600m including flight path. It's is possible to dodge these if you move to the side or jump just before it lands. Slow to reload. Best fired around the 550m

Beacon. Fits onto Light Bots and delivers a wide aerial bombardment to the target. very long reload. Requires line of sight to target accurately. (currently an IAP) [not sure which type of damage]

EMP. Fits onto Light Bots and will disable enemy movement for a short while for any reds caught in the area. Slow to reload. Requires being up close to the target.

  • EDIT

Inquisitor A unique weapon that only fits on top of the Tirpitz bot. Fires big damage of APFS rounds with decent velocity. Slow to reload to max but will auto reload as you shoot. Works well Brawling with Feeder upgrades alongside Hammers, or more commonly seen as a Ranged bot with Magazine upgrades and Reinforced Ammo alongside Sarisas.
