It takes place in 1939 Berlin, so it's not a WW1 series per se, but many of the characters and plot lines are steeped in the aftermath of the war. While the story is fictional, the show does a great job capturing the setting an emotion of Germany in the period between world wars. You really get a feel for the social and political movements shaping the country in the aftermath of WW1. Besides that, its just a great show with a fantastic aesthetic. Definitely recommend!
