RSC M1917 = Best Gun?

I am loving this weapon, dealing 53 damage up to 40 meters! Then only having a drop off at 38 damage from 60 . You can argue the RPM is too low but it's accuracy spread is extremely low leaving your follow up shots to actually hit the enemy and not stray in every which way.
Thoughts?
