Are the Martini-Henry sights glitched on the PC?

Hey everyone, hope you're having a good day.
I love the Martini-Henry but have noticed that it has an issue with the sight line. There have been many times where I've had someone lined up dead in the middle without them moving and taken a shot that doesn't register as a hit, sometimes I fire the exact same spot without readjusting and the enemy in the same spot and it will register as a hit.
Is this a known issue? It's happened too much to be coincidence.
