Are there still active/competitive platoons?

I used to play competitive around 2016 but fell off once my clan moved to bf1. I have been playing with some of my old friends from them recently in casual but feel like I'm missing something.
I play on PC in eastern time zone. Admittedly I am not the best player, especially after my two year break from all video games. At one point I averaged about a 2-3 k/d during competition, I'd call that my peak.
