Anyone else find it impossible to score the mobile AA?

Since each team gets 1 mobile AA (not complaining; I think that's a good number) I find it almost entirely impossible to get in the damn thing. I have a total of 4 minutes in the Tunguska with 3 kills and 51 seconds in the LAV-AD with 0 kills. I have 20 hours of playtime. I feel like I'm never going to unlock any of the damn improvements because I can never get in the AA.
