I’m an absolute noob when it comes to PC’s and I built this gaming PC at the height of the pandemic with my stimmy, and even tho I clock 950 mbps downloads speeds on average, multiplayer becomes almost unplayable due to lag, and occasional crashes. We’re talking the screen getting choppy, sometimes freezing for a good 30 seconds until I can move my crosshair again.

I want to address the issue, but I need to isolate the problem. I figured some Good Samaritan could help a fellow gamer out by letting me pick their brain.

My CPU, motherboard, and GPU specs are as follows:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (14nm) 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor

Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard

MSI VENTUS XS OC GeForce GTX 1660 6 GB Video Card
