I lost my save due to the data transfer

I opened my battlecats app today to find the data transfer screen to be the first thing to welcome me. I thought it was weird so i tapped cancel. After a while, it said that "your data has been successfully transferred" and now i have my save lost.
Any suggestions on what to do?
