So I noticed that the Batlebots website keeps track of how many "likes" each robot gets on the site. I was curious as to which robots were most popular, and decided to see what the first round would look like if the most popular robot won every matchup. Here are the results:

Some notes:

If we were to use the same method to determine the wild card entries, the 8 bots would be Stinger, Mohawk, Splatter, Blacksmith, SOW, Obwalden Overlord, Black Ice, and Bombshell
All the returning bots have more likes than the newcomers - every bot in the top 20 competed on Season 1, with the exception of BETA
The biggest discrepancy in popularity is Hypershock vs Ultraviolent with a margin of 1456 likes. The smallest margin is a tie between Brutus vs Moebius and Chrome Fly vs Bucktooth Burl, both with a difference of 11 likes.
