How do I fix this broken install?

So I updated to 39 from 38, and now all it gives me is default ES and Kodi settings, no splashed working, and it cannot find the roms or settings that are saved.

It's using both "NO_LABEL" partitions to populate the userdata, despite their being BATOCERA and SHARE. I see that everything within those partitions has been perfectly preserved, but even set to "any external" batocera will not find it.

When I plug the drive into my laptop all that mount are SHARE and BATOCERA, and everything there is set up like it should work. I can't get the NO_LABEL drives to mount on any system other thar Batocera.
