I've seen a lot of suggestions for young actors to play Bruce/Batman in Justice League and beyond, but I don't seem to see any suggestions for an older actor to take on the role.
Personally, after seeing Christian Bale play a (relatively) younger Bruce throughout the Nolan trilogy, I'd like to see a more grizzled, veteran Batman. Maybe not quite as old as Bruce in The Dark Knight Returns, but maybe a Bruce in his 40s. Someone who's been around the block a few times and isn't just starting out all over again. I think it'd be easier to go right back into Batman if you don't have to establish him again, and can just allow for him to have been doing his thing for awhile now in Justice League. It'll make more sense to moviegoers and it'll be an easier transition to a new actor so soon.
So, what would your ideal Batman be?
