First time using Bathmate Hydromax 5

Hi all,

I just tried the Bathmate Hydromax 5 for the first time and believe I read the instructions but the suction didn't feel very strong..

I did shave the pubic area and pushed the tip into the open position to pump but then I put it to the closed position. I just saw a video demo where the user left the tip in the open position. Do you leave it in the open position during your entire session?

Also, while I measure 4 inches when erect, I am extremely small when flaccid and now wondering if I should have bought the Hydromax 3.
