This virus is unlike anything our global population has seen for quite some time. I have elders telling me this is like nothing else they've seen in their lifetime. I didn't have many events planned this year, but I have tickets for Bonnaroo and I was so excited to see the man perform on the farm. Roo was my first camping festival 6 years ago and I've been following him around for almost the same length of time. I was so excited to see him there and for everything to come full circle. It would be my 20th set. But with the way things are playing out that's probably not gonna happen.
I know a lot of us are facing heart break right now over all these canceled events (not just nectar events). And there's probably even more disappointment to come. But can I just say, that the first Bassnectar set after all this is said and done, that FIRST set when life is back to normal and we can finally breathe and just let loose. I'm gonna be there. And I hope you're ALL gonna be there too. And I know it's just gonna be the most incredible, gratifying, freeing experience any of us have had in a long time. It will be worth waiting through all this shit to get there. In the meantime everyone please take care of yourselves, take the proper precautions, and I look forward to seeing yall on the other side
Oh my oh my I’ll be there. Hoping freestyles can somehow happen. The tickets would be the best early purchases I’ve ever made. That weekend he would really let loose and I’m honestly getting extreme chills thinking of him throwing down his first set since okee (which I was at too). Would be so special. My girlfriend and I were really starting to get in the community and really understand his music so much more. Hoping all this is squashed soon!
