Hello r/basslessons!
I'm a professional bassist with 22 years of experience (and 12 years on double bass) and have been teaching for 6 years. I enjoy teaching with an emphasis on developing the student's ear, solid fundamentals, and specialize in improvisation.
I strive to find out how each student learns best and attempt my best to accommodate that in my lesson delivery. I was taught in a way that encourages self empowerment that leads to skills necessary for self teaching and thus I have carried on that tradition from my teachers.
I always offer the first lesson free (full hour or less) so that anyone may experience my lessons for themselves at no risk.
For the full duration of the pandemic (looking like another 8-16 months at this point) I have reduced my rates by about half. 35$ an hour with 30 minutes being slightly more expensive at 20$.
Please feel free to ask any questions and/or message me if you are interested.
Edit: these are online private lessons! Sorry foe3the potential confusion.
