Tar Extract without Subdirectories?
Post Body
I'm using tar -xf to extract an icon pack in tar.gz format, but when I do, Terminal spits out a bunch of "Cannot open: File exists" errors because it's attempting to extract all of that folder's subdirectories too. How do I stop this?
A bunch of solutions I've read give different suggestions and I really don't want to have to write out a whole .txt file listing all the subdirectories it should ignore.
