So I had looked over my expenses for the end of the year and let’s just say I didn’t quite get a solid bang for my buck on boxes. After so many packs of getting cards I don’t want, I decided to take the money I’ve already saved by avoiding ripping for a sock shohei auto. I only have his rookie and I’ve been itching to get his auto for my pc.
I’m slightly ashamed at the amount of money I’ve spent on this hobby this year, but it hasn’t been fruitless. I’ve been able to hedge my losses significantly by reselling on eBay. I haven’t gotten all my money back but it is a crucial supplement for my habit. I still feel that gamblers itch though to instead of 1 shohei auto I can get 3 hobby boxes with a chance at a shohei, or trout or jeter etc. I’m battling that fight now but I’ve done well and already saved enough from not ripping daily. Hoping to not spend more than I make back next year.
What’s the most you’ve paid for one card and what was it?
