I just started getting into card collecting the past two years and am slowly learning about the different types of cards and rarity of them. In the past I have bought heritage boxes and some chrome boxes but they seemed less appealing than just the generic Topps boxes but again I am not sure what are the best boxes to be putting my money into.
This year I have only bought the 2023 Topps series 1 and series 2 boxes and Iām starting to get disheartened on the cards I am getting. I have gotten some pretty cool cards but I see so many others on this sub getting these awesome cards and Iām wondering what packs/boxes they are getting them in. I have gotten several All Aces cards, some rookie stars of mlb cards, some 35th anniversary cards of both rookies and vets, a couple legends of the game cards and one heavy lumber card and have probably spent around $500 or so on cards for the 2023 season. I understand luck has a lot to do with getting the more rare cards but I am just curious if there is a better pack/box I can put my money towards to increases my chances of landing a more rare card like a signature card.
