Keeper League Contract Settings?

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Keeper Leagues, starting my own league this year and I want to start it right. Working with Yahoo Fantasy Baseball, wondering what people usually do with player contracts. How many players do you keep, and for how long? What are restrictions regarding positions? Any advice would be appreciated from people with experience!
