Those of You Who Have Switched Allegiances: Why?

Despite the flair, I am basically done with the Chicago White Sox. I won't go into the weeds on why (basically a combo of family BS and actual baseball ineptitude), but the switch will happen. To which team is TBD though.
If you've switched baseball allegiances, why did you do it? What were the circumstances? I just...don't wanna feel alone in this, I guess.
