So I just started doing some mixology and building my own home bar. I made up a drink for my girlfriend a drink and named it after her because she really liked it. The drink is 1 1/2 oz simple syrup, 1/2 oz triple sec, 2 oz vodka. I shake that and strain it into a high ball glass, do a 4 second pour of Sprite, and add a lemon wedge. I was wondering if this drink (or something extremely similar) already exists and if not I'd like some tips on improving it and making it prettier.
Edit: Thank y'all for the great suggestions, I will definitely experiment with the levels of simple and lemon juice. I would like some ideas for if there is a better glass to put it in, some things to add color to the cocktail, and maybe a better garnish.
