Full disclosure: I own a pub trivia company and we've been slow expanding across Canada. We've had a lot of success with running weekly trivia leagues, as well as larger themed events that can have 100 -150 attendees in a night.
We've been looking to expand what we offer beyond just trivia, and taking a look at Paint Nights (which seem to be dying off a little bit), Music Bingo, Plant Nights, possibly doing Ugly Sweater Nights around x-mas (like, make your own Ugly Sweater).
What types of events have you seen around your cities that pull people in on otherwise slower nights?
If you're against these types of events, what are your thoughts and hesitations with running any events like the above?
I won't link to my company, but if anyone is interested in doing pub trivia at their bar, reach out via a PM, and I'll happily give more info
