I apologize for the format , on mobile venting .

I bartend at a whiskey bar. We do craft cocktails and really nice food . It’s a restaurant if anything. I’m the only server/bartender there. I do all the ordering , drinks etc. I have a barback for an extra set of hands at night and they are a godsend . Two women walked in visibly intoxicated. Stumbled through the door, very loud, walking in the wrong direction. Knocked a stack of menus off a counter . I asked “So we’ve had a few drinks eh?” . I asked this question and this is where their attitude completely shifted. I’m supposed to ascertain how drunk someone is if I am to serve . The over serving laws here are very strict and I could get in trouble if someone dies, gets hurt etc... I had no intention of denying them drink , or even said that I would . If anything I was just a going to limit them to beer and monitor them. They huddle up at the bar and walkout when my back is turned. No mither, they didn’t order anything.

Fast forward two hours and they walk back in. One of them has their phone out and is filming me. I ask them to stop . She eventually obliges. There’s legally no right to privacy in a restaurant, it’s not illegal for someone to film me. I am allowed to ask them to stop for “disruptive behavior “ and if they refuse I ask them to leave , if they don’t it’s trespassing . But it never got to that . She put the phone away eventually.
The more sober of the two orders a beer from my busboy . I pour, have him deliver it . I basically have him be a server for this one table. The two ladies proceeded to sit there and loudly belch and be crass for the 45 minutes it took them to finish 1 beer. Eyeing me down whenever I passed or asked how they were doing. Eventually they leave and I have the busboy do the close out . This was my favorite part. I knew they wouldn’t tip me so I had him do the close out. They proceeded to over tip him and say “Your boss is a cunt.” when I walked away. Of coarse he got an awesome tip-out that night . But I’m so surprised at the drunk entitled power trip they were on. I’m having my first after shift drink in months and I’m laughing with another bartender who dealt with them as well. “Is everyone in this town a douche?”-drunk ladies.

TL:DR Asked some visibly intoxicated ladies if they had been drinking. Proceeded to get filmed and called a cunt behind my back.
