Hey guys, so its been a while since I've had to deal with a situation like this and want to know your thoughts.
Last night this guy was in, alone and drinking soft drinks while people watching. I'm ok with that as long as they aren't making the situation worse for anyone. A few younger girls (18-19) come up to the bar and order some drinks and he whips out 20 bucks and says 'I'll get it'. They accepted, then went back to dancing without really talking to him. Whatever. He does this a few more times with the same group of girls (or one in particular) and doesn't really have much luck with conversation beyond a 'thanks'.
How do you guys read these situations? Is the dude wearing a naruto headband, not drinking and creeping on young girls something that you would step in on? why?
I hate to treat girls as delicate flowers that can't hold their own, and hate to treat guys as possible predators just for being socially retarded. Standard rules of; intervening if he got physical, tried to put something in their drinks or followed them out of the bar at the end of the night, all apply of course, but do you step in before that?
Cheers
