Why the fuck is the happy hour crowd sooo much more demanding than the normal crowd who pay regular prices?!

Two weeks ago we launched an aggressive happy hour program where basically anything that isn’t a premium is $5(CDN). The word has gotten out and now I’ve got these bar flies I’ve never seen before snapping their fingers at me, waving their glasses in the air when I was asking for another round literally two mins ago.

One guy asked me a hundred questions about what was on happy hour and what was not and I was pretty specific in the first answer I gave which I repeated twelve times while my service well is popping off and six more people are seating.

This same guy, says ‘I don’t like anything on your TV’s, find me a ball game.’ I’m literally getting destroyed at this point, but have a quick look and no ball games (this is Canada so we only get the Jays most days and they didn’t play today). I have every sport that is live on the tv and he rolls his eyes and says ‘ok.’

Like what do you want man!? You want me to give birth to a Blue Jays game and bring it in to this world all on my own!? Jesus Christ

I still give these greasy fucks the same service as the couple who order steaks and wine and tip 20%. It’s not in me to not give the best service possible because that would be on me and not them. It’s just engrained in to me no matter how shit someone is, they get the same service as the diamonds I love serving.

I dunno. It’s a sort of twisted revenge thing for me that I’m gonna be the best I can at everything I do even when you are the worst. Maintain my level at all times.

But all this for people with $20 tabs who tip -10%!!!!
