Greetings everyone,

I’m getting my licensure for bartending in the state of California. I was looking up Bartending jobs in Sacramento, CA and was surprised to find only a handful of positions advertised online (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, GlassDoor, Craigslist, etc.,).

My question: What is the best way to find work for bartending? Obviously some are posted online, but in the experiences of those who currently, or in the past, have worked as a bartender, are there different avenues for finding work? I have a feeling that I’ll need to spend time walking into businesses to drop off my resume and ask a manager about their bartending needs. Any insight would be appreciated, especially if anyone is in Sacramento, CA!
