I tried to drink it but it tastes like straight perfume. Really was expecting more from Hendricks as I usually love their special edition bottles but now I’m stuck with it. It’s too strong to have in a martini which is what I was hoping to use it for. I was thinking of doing something with st germain and lemon but not sure if making it sweeter will really help or if citrus is what I need to tone down the floral. Need something to make it more of a hint rather than feeling like I just swallowed some Marc Jacobs a salesperson sprayed on me as I’m walking through a department store. Unfortunately my home bar is not very expansive so I’m limited on my own ability to experiment.
Any ideas of recipes you’ve tried that work?
Side note: anyone tried the neptuna? I thought it might be good for a dirty martini but am scared to buy the bottle after this disaster lol
