(Note: UK based) I've been working at this pub for half a decade, it's basically my second home. Tonight, we had an insane take, at £4721. This is a tiny venue in the north, with room for 3 people behind the bar (slightly un-) comfortably. It's definitely a record for as long as I've been here, and we're pretty sure it's an all time record in our 19 years of business.
My manager let us comp off multiple pints, bought us each a bottle of wine out of his own pocket, and cracked open some rare craft beers he's been saving for a special occasion after work. We may not be paid the best (out of his hands, corporate policy) and we may not be tipped like you lot in the states do, but I felt incredibly valued as a supervisor.
Hope everyone else killed it this weekend x
