So I’m really supposed to wait 5-8 months to be admitted now? (NY 2d Dept)

Thinking about how my journey started with studying for the LSAT in early 2019 and now I’ll only be admitted in 2024. Is that not ridiculous? I enjoy my job enough, and like who I work with but it’s annoying to always ask someone else to sign off on something for a case assigned to me when I could be the one signing.
