Tips for rural prairie/front range type area?
Post Body

I want to be barefoot all the time or at most socks (I cannot give up socks). We are moving to a smaller town. Our neighborhood won’t have sidewalks but it does have A LOT of nature. The nature has goat heads, some cactus, dry pokey grass, etc.

Any tips for this kind of area? I’m thinking mainly Xero sandals in the nature and barefoot on all the man made surfaces. Also considering this diy socks w/ spray on rubber situation i saw. I mean, I’ll prob try it anyway.

What do you all do in areas like this?
