The power line adapter will help me?

I live in a 10 yrs old house, and the Ethernet wiring isn’t the best
The router is in the living room, which is roughly the middle of the house.
My pc is in an other room roughly 15 meters away from the router, will the TP-Link AV600 help me having a stable connection, while I play online and decent download speed?
At the moment downloading a game with wifi it take me at least 3-4 hours.
I can’t re-wire the house, and this AV600 fits in my budget. But is it worth it ?
