Regularly, and without rhyme or reason, my motherboard will hang at the DRAM check on boot (with corresponding one long two short beeps). The only thing that gets it to boot is pulling power **and** the CMOS battery, which forces the mobo into a raw boot and seems to get things ticking again.

Things I've tried so far:

-I originally had a lower-tier G.Skill memory set, thought possibly I got a bad batch so I upgraded to the Trident Z Neo. I'm fairly confident at this point that it's not the memory itself. If the DRAM hang occurs, swapping sticks, DIMM locations, or only having one stick installed doesn't clear the hang.

-I've disabled all quick-boot features in both Windows and the BIOS.

-DOCP profile is enabled, but the hang happens whether I have it enabled or disabled.

-Yes, the DIMMs are inserted fully into the slots.

-Running the latest BIOS (12/08)

I'm hoping someone has a "hey dummy do X" solution, but I'm afraid it may be the motherboard. Any suggestions would be most welcome!
