I've got most of the parts for my PC, but I'm still waiting for my 5900x. Should I buy a placeholder CPU or wait?
Post Body

Hi!

I'm building my first PC. I'll be using it for photography and video editing, as well as some gaming and potentially streaming.

This is my PC list: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/theoutsider/saved/#view=dhHv3C (Mobo was $529, GPU $1069 and CPU $759 without tax).

I received my 3080 today, and lucked out on the expensive AIO being on sale on Black Friday. I only need the fans, RAM and storage. (Going for a white & black build).

My question is, should I buy AMD zen 2 and build my PC and see if the other components work like my GPU? or should I wait another month or two for my 5900x and build then? Apologies if this is an amateur question. I'm new to the PC world haha.
