Purchasing a new build this week - need a review

It's been ages since I last built a PC and I don't keep with hardware between my updates so could definitely use a review of my build.

I don't care for RGB but otherwise I'm open to all suggestions, nothing here is set in stone - especially the case, I wasn't sure what to pick there. Already have the 1080ti, will upgrade when the 3000 series releases.

I will both game (mostly VR, with an Index) and work from this PC.
My work (developer) often involves running multiple VMs and having the extra oomph from the 3900x means I wouldn't have to worry about shutting all the VMs down to get in a little gaming.
