My computer suddenly didn't start when I pressed Start Button. It needed me to unplug the power, discharge, and plug it back in to start. After a week, nothing is starting.

Is it safe to say the PSU is dead? Or should I go to Canada Computers and pay $50 to see if they can figure it out?
I don't have a spare PSU to test my theory of dead PSU.
I have the Gigabyte P750GM, just learned that a year ago they had recalled them for fire hazard. My PSU or computer was fine 2 weeks ago.
