Post Body

I've recently come across several posts on Facebook that have me quite concerned about what's happening around Saint Martin's Island. According to these posts, there have been sightings of Myanmar warships visible from the shore. There are also mentions of a potential conflict between the Arakan Army and the Myanmar military.

I'm not sure how credible these sources are, but it’s worrying nonetheless. Has anyone else heard about this or can provide more information? I’d appreciate any updates or insights you might have.

Stay safe, everyone.

Thanks!

Because something like that has happened in the past? Myanmar is also in no state to seek conflict with Bangladesh especially when they are losing their key territories to rebels.

There was an incident once where Myanmar tried enforcing claim over some marine territory . Our navy and diplomats managed to deter them on time. They’ll be there for sure if anything serious happens dw. Here’s the incident btw: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Bangladesh–Myanmar_naval_standoff#

I see your point. Let’s wait then.

Edit: From Myanmar’s pov though they shouldn’t have much interest right now.
